Huge deal, quantity wise between the Cavaliers, Bulls, and Sonics today. Minor deal quality wise. A trade between two teams in a division usually means the lesser of two teams is giving up, and since the Bulls couldn't even beat the Jason-Kiddless Nets, it appears that they are indeed giving up. But when you're giving up, don't you want to plan for the future? How does giving up a draft pick help you at all in this situation? The Cavaliers Get: Bulls F/C Ben Wallace Bulls F Joe Smith Bulls 2009 2nd-round pick Sonics F Wally Szczerbiak Sonics G Delonte West Two guys from the Sonics that will definitely be improvements over Drew Gooden and Larry Hughes, who aren't very good at all, and Ben Wallace will step up his game against the Pistons and Pistons only, which will help in the playoffs, at least.

State offers help after oil company closes

WATERBURY (AP) The state is offering to help 12,000 customers of a Waterbury oil company that abruptly went out of business and left many people with pre-paid contracts in limbo.

Gov. M. Jodi Rell says state investigators will go to the headquarters of F. and S. Oil Company first thing on Monday to demand access to its business records.

She says the state will also seek a court-appointed receiver to audit the records, and go after any funds that may be missing. State officials will see if they can freeze the company's assets and return money to thousands of customers with pre-buy contracts.

Rell also says her office will work to set up oil deliveries by other companies to F. and S. customers to make sure no one goes without heat.

The state says F. and S. customers can call a state hot line at 1-800-842-2649 beginning Monday morning.

True to his 'roots,' true to his 'grooves'

His parents played gospel music in their church and his uncle headed a local R&B band, the Blue Notes. He started playing saxophone at 8, and soon formed the Junior Blue Notes with his younger brother Melvin on drums and older bro Kellis on trombone. By the time he was in the sixth grade, the band was performing between sets at the Blue Note's gigs.

By the time he graduated from college with a degree in music, he had perfected his hard-driving sound, a gritty, insistent, rhythmic incantation that he perfected with Melvin.

"His second year, I talked him into doing the freshman talent show, just drums and saxophone, no guitar or piano," Parker recalled. "We used to fool around like that at home, this Africa kind of sound, where I'd kind of scat to change the tempo. We had that connection.

This year, the American people will choose between two diametrically ...

The Democratic Party looks at our nation and sees the twilight of the American soul.

Republicans affirm that now, as throughout history, the spiritual and intellectual genius of the American people will create a better nation and maintain a just peace. To Republicans, creativity and growth are imperatives for a new era of opportunity for all.

The Republican Party's vision of America's future, the heart of our 1984 Platform, begins with a basic premise: From freedom comes opportunity; from opportunity comes growth; from growth comes progress.

This is not some abstract formula. It is the vibrant, beating heart of the American experience. No matter how complex our problems, no matter how difficult our tasks, it is freedom that inspires and guides the American Dream.

Adsense - The Powerful Passive Income Generator

Webmasters have a revolutionary new method of collecting income from their websites.
Whereas in the past advertising revenue was reserved for those sites with large a coming and going of visitors, now even teenagers are making a quick buck with their online hobby blogs. People place adsense on their online family photo albums, their blogs and their business sites. The minimum you would get, even with a small amount of traffic, is for adsense to pay for your hosting costs.

Adsense revolutionized the world of paid advertising; banner advertising is based on the number of visitors you attract to your site, so the number of banner impressions dictates the revenue you receive. Google Adsense is quite different; it is the number of visitors that actually click on the advertising that determine how much you earn.
