| N.H. Is Campaign Central for Republicans
Polls show a dead-heat, and Romney's campaign is weighing whether to begin running negative ads against Huckabee. Fred Thompson, the former Tennessee senator, also is trying to compete in Iowa; he's not a factor in New Hampshire. Should Romney win Iowa's caucuses on Jan. 3, he'd come into New Hampshire in a commanding position and with a strong ground-game; Huckabee's candidacy could be over. But were Romney to lose in Iowa, GOP strategists say he would be wounded but still able to compete in next-up New Hampshire on Jan. 8 because of the foundation he's laid. If Huckabee triumphs in Iowa, these strategists say, it's unclear whether he can leverage that success into financial and organizational strength in the narrow window between Iowa and New Hampshire.

Ask AP: Superdelegates, Windy Landings
Sens. Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama know who the superdelegates are — their campaigns probably have them on speed dial. But where could a curious voter find a complete list of these party leaders and elected officials — the people who, in the end, may play a decisive role in determining the Democratic presidential nominee? That's one of the four questions being answered in this week's "Ask AP," a weekly Q&A column where AP journalists respond to readers' questions about the news. If you have your own news-related question that you'd like to see answered by an AP reporter or editor, send it to newsquestions@ap.org, with "Ask AP" in the subject line. Please include your full name and hometown so they can be published with your question.
MAU looking for families to host students
BENNINGTON Mount Anthony Union High School is hosting the New England Music Festival, but with the show two weeksaway, about 180 students still need a place to stay, the school's principal said Tuesday. MAUHS is responsible for housing the 487 high school participants, said Christina Gabrus, the school's office manager, and is still in desperate need of volunteers willing to house the young musicians and choir singers during the three-day festival. Gabrus said the high school was supposed to send out rooming assignments this weekend, but due to the lack of volunteers, this will likely be delayed. She said volunteers would be responsible for picking up students at 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, after they are done practicing, driving them to practice at the high school at about 8 a.m.
Liberal Name Caller Behar Denounces Conservative 'Name Calling'
She briefly had a morning radio show on New York's WABC Talk Radio. She was supposed to compete with Imus' radio show. The few times I heard her, she was complaining about her treatment at the radio station, how she speaks up for her rights, or how men are such brutes. Boring stuff. .
UK : Man Admits Plotting To Behead Muslim Soldier
Adam Mussa of the Muslim Brotherhood-founded Muslim Association of Britain (MAB) claimed: "Some of the people arrested are just individuals with loud voices, who are vocal about various neighborhood issues, but that doesn't make them terrorists. It's not fair. This seems to be happening again and again. This is a form of victimization and your average 'Mo Public' is feeling very cynical. When you come in and do a job you should make sure you clean up after yourself, and that's what the police need to do here." The raids happened as there had been intelligence that a cell of British Islamists had planned to kidnap and behead a Muslim soldier. A particular Muslim soldier had already been targeted, and was under protection. It was revealed shortly after the arrests that he was a corporal in military intelligence, chosen from a shortlist of 25 individuals Adam Mussa justified his hostility to the Birmingham raids by ridiculing the notion of such a plot.
Two-second machine delay has no effect on video play
I've received some good reader questions this month, starting with one about an aspect of slot-machine play that's often misinterpreted as a "signal." While playing video poker, every now and then the machine will "stall" before dealing the next hand. Any idea what is really going on? Bruce C. It's something that occurs not only with video poker but spinning-reel and video slots, as well. According to the engineers at International Game Technology (IGT), the periodic two-second delay occurs when the machine's internal electronic meters are being updated. The meters have no connection with the machine's random number generator and therefore have no bearing on the course of play. Four Winds in New Buffalo, Mich., features computer-generated random winners.

India Real Estate: Price Correction Looms
A great site and a great project is not necessarily a good investment because the land value may be too high. A cheap deal may be as bad because chances are the deal is cheap for good reasons. So these formulas do not work. We take a bottom-up view. In general, we prefer things that are below the radar screen of the typical institutional investor. We are happy to invest in cities that an average US real estate fund manager has not heard of. .
Jeff Potrykus
Jarvis Minton lost kickoff-return job briefly because of that mistake in the Western Illinois game. Bielema talked at length about it afterward. Please don't make the common mistake of assuming because a player makes a mistake it is the result of the staff not addressing an issue. Favre made some bad plays in the loss to Buffalo, remember? Does that mean the staff hasn't addressed ball security with him? Q: Dennis Sullivan of Eau Claire - Iowa seemed to do the best job of any of the Badger's foes in stopping the run. Was their D line that much better or did they have a scheme that the Badgers could not solve? A: Jeff Potrykus - Michigan did the best job. Iowa had eight guys in the box with a ninth creeping up. They wanted to make Donovan beat them with his arm and he did. Q: Mike of Atlanta - Which redshirt freshmen do you think will make an impact next year? Did the UW redshirt both freshman QB recruits? A: Jeff Potrykus - Next year again? I haven't thought about it for a second...Yes, neither QB recruit has played.
